After lunch, transfer and check-in to Oropa, the largest Marian Sanctuary in the Alps at the foot of Mount Mucrone for an afternoon of relaxation, walks a hot chocolate or a real Italian coffee in its historical locals. You can then dine in one of the astonishing typical restaurants inside the Santuary, before a well-deserved rest.

Day 2

You will also be able to learn about the founder's gift to his employees and to the Biella area: the Burcina Park, thanks to the hiking guide detailed directions.

The Burcina Park, born from Felice Piacenza's passion for botany, includes varieties of plants and flowers from all over the world, that reach their maximum splendor in the month of May / June with the flowering of rhododendrons and became spectacular during the “foliage” in Autumn.

At the end of the visit, return to Oropa for lunch at the well known Croce Bianca Restaurant, followed by a very interesting visit to the Sanctuary, the ex-voto galleries, the Royal Savoy apartments, the Museum of Treasures and the nearby Botanical Garden.

Another magical evening will follow with dinner and rest in the silence of the Oropa basin.
