When you are on top of the "Serra" (the big hill shaped like a greenhouse over Ivrea), and you look towards the plain, it’s quite fascinating to think that once - in fact, "many times" - all that space below was covered in ice. Kilometers and kilometers under a layer a few hundred meters deep, that has forced down from the Val d'Aosta valley all these rocks and sand to form a gigantic horseshoe that now serves as a frame to one of the most wonderful places in Piedmont.
Starting from the 900m of Andrate along the paths we will meet woods, churches, lakes, castles, vineyards and lots of mosquitoes.
We will spend 3 days just thinking about riding, having fun and being in good company, and we will end the tour in Brosso, on the border with Valchiusella, where we can admire a spectacular view of the entire morainic amphitheater
