PROGRAM
2 days/1 night.
Day 1: arrival in Cavaglià with your car and check-in at the fantastic UNA Golf Hotel, our consortium member, a 4 stars hotel a few minutes from the Turin Milan motorway’s exit, Santhia. The hotel has 37 spacious rooms, a gym and a magnificent summer pool. Adjacent to the hotel there is the 18-hole course of the Golf Club Cavaglià and its driving range. The Club House is home to the Rosso Cuoco Café and the restaurant Rosso Cuoco Steak House, overlooking the golf course, famous for its barbecued US-style meat specialties, which you can enjoy at the end of the day. There, your guide, who will accompany you in your excursion to the discovery of Biella, will be waiting for you. Cultural visits to the monuments, streets and squares of the city and the visit of Piazzo, the medieval part reachable by a spectacular cable car, will alternate with visits and wine, pastries and local beers tastings directly from producers or in specialized shops. And of course a lunch in a local restaurant. Back to Golf Hotel for dinner and a well-earned rest.
Day 2: always starting from one Golf Hotel, your guide will point out other areas of the territory of Biella: the Ricetto of Candelo, a village still perfectly preserved, for a time journey in the fourteenth century between cobbled streets and ancient houses and barns where we have lunch in a typical local just outside its walls. Then a tasting of the wines of the Castellengo Castle, an ancient castle atop a hill, that we will reach with a scenic route through the "savannah" of Biella, peculiar-looking African, landscape but with mountains on the horizon. And then the discovery of Rosazza in Cervo Valley, one of the most mysterious Italian villages where the tourist is catapulted into a surreal place, full of masonic and esoteric symbolism! Reaching it we stop to taste a liqueur born in this valley, Ratafià, by the Ancient Distillery Giovanni Rapa, a surprise! Back to UNA Golf Hotel. End of the tour.
