A NORDIC WALKING HIKE, GOLD PANNING AS IN THE DAYS OF KLONDIKE AND BRONZE AGE PALAFITTE LAKE VILLAGE!

Walk with nordic walking sticks, from the Golf Club to the Special Nature Reserve of La Bessa, ancient gold mine in Roman times. In Victimula, base of the local Gold Panner Association, with boots, using the special gold panner pan, you will apply the techniques needed to find your personal gold leaf!

The cosy Golf Hotel Le Betulle offers 17 rooms with every possible comfort, all of which have a private terrace with a view of the green and in particular hole n° 9. The Club-House was built in the best traditional English style and hosts a famous restaurant with typical Piedmont and Mediterranean cuisine, a bar, a TV room and a game room.

Day 1: arrival with your car and check-in at the English-style Golf Hotel Le Betulle, inside the Golf Club Le Betulle in
Magnano Biellese, rated best golf club of Italy in 2013 and firmly among the first three from several years.
Meeting at the Golf Club Le Betulle with the hiking guide, Nordic Walking instructor and expert gold panner who will take care of  you throughout the day. Walk with nordic walking sticks, from the Golf Club to the Special Nature Reserve of La Bessa, ancient gold mine in Roman times and stopping for lunch in a local “trattoria”.
Back at the hotel for a moment of relaxation, the hotel's sauna is at your disposal! For those who want to spend a few hours in a SPA in the Biella mountains (to be booked in advance), with a magnificent view of the Po Valley, transfer with your car in Bossola location for a few hours of pure indulgence and relax. Back to Golf Hotel for dinner and a well-earned rest.

 
Day 2: always starting from the Golf Hotel Le Betulle, your guide and Nordic Walking instructor will accompany you to discover a different corner of the Biella area: lake Viverone! Nestled at the end of the Serra, you can stroll along its banks, visit his Unesco World Heritage palafitte lake village. Few meters below the water level, a remarkably preserved remains of about 5.000 piles driven into the ground, witness of an ancient dwelling village, dating back to the Bronze age! And a lunch of local lake fishes on the veranda overlooking the lake in one of our consortium members, Hotel Marina. Back at the Golf Hotel Le Betulle. End of the tour.

Single room supplement: € 20,00 per person.
Option SPA La Bossola: € 45,00 per person (transfer Magnano – Bossola not included)
 
 
Included: half board three nights in double room with buffet breakfast at the Golf Club Le Betulle, gold panning in Victimula center, two full day guided tour with hiking guide/nordic walking instructor/gold panner , two lunches in local restaurants.
